The SCGES welcomes a new organization among its members: The International Union of Soil Sciences (IUSS), a scientific union member of the International Science Council (ISC). Its objectives are the promotion of soil science, as well as the support of all soil scientists across the world in the pursuit of their activities. IUSS President Laura Bertha Reyes Sánchez and Prof. Lúcia Anjos will act as representative and deputy representative, respectively, of the IUSS in the SCGES. The committee is pleased to continue expanding its partnerships, which helps strengthen its mission to promote gender equality in all branches of science.
